The Parent and Family Program connects loved ones of UW-Madison students to the University. Parents and families are seen as integral partners with UW-Madison in the academic and personal success of their students during their time in college.
To enhance and continue that support, the Badger Parent Club has been created to foster the connection with your Badger and the UW campus. Through a minimum annual gift of $250, you will help to improve the overall student experience by supporting programs and services in the areas of Health and Wellbeing, Identity and Inclusion, Student Advocacy, and Student Leadership and Engagement.
With your $250 annual gift, you will receive:
- Weekly Flamingle email (annual)
- Updates showing the impact of your gift (annual)
- Opportunity to have care packages and birthday cakes ordered for your student (annual)
- Badger Parent Club window cling (year 1)
- Perk Packs for Wisconsin Union Dining (year 2)
- Virtual reception with the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Dr. Lori Reesor, (years 3-4)
Areas of Support
Health and Wellbeing
Healthy minds, bodies and communities. We view health and well-being through an equity and social justice lens to include personal physical health, mental health, and connection to a safe campus where all students can thrive.
Identity and Inclusion
We value an inclusive environment where all Badgers feel like they belong and are supported. We also encourage student engagement with social justice in areas including race, health, gender and sexuality, socioeconomic status, religion, and more.
Students have an important role in shaping policy and access to campus resources. There are many ways across the UW-Madison campus for students to match their passions with opportunities to get involved.
Student Leadership and Community Engagement
UW-Madison is dedicated to supporting students as they develop their leadership capacity. There are many opportunities for students to connect with leadership and engagement opportunities throughout campus.
