Voting for the Spring Elections of The Associated Students of Madison (ASM) will take place between Monday, March 4 and Wednesday, March 6.
ASM is an important force on campus, working to empower the students of UW-Madison through involvement and participation in strategic campaigns. ASM’s direct action campaigns have resulted in numerous victories for students, including a cap on tuition increases, mandatory pre-exam study days, and the creation of 24-hour libraries.
Each Spring, students are able to vote for student council representatives from their school or college. All 33 council representatives are up for election. The elected candidates will represent the needs of the students on campus. ASM allocates approximately $51 million in segregated fees each year and manages the Student Activity Center and the distribution of the student bus pass.
