You’re invited: Associate dean of students finalists come to campus

A search and screen committee has recommended three finalists for the  associate dean of students position at UW–Madison. All three candidates will be visiting campus in June to give public presentations and meet with members of the campus community. Anyone is encouraged to attend the public presentations.

The associate dean of students is a highly visible campus leader, a member of the division’s Central Leadership Team, and actively collaborates with a wide variety of campus and community stakeholders.

The associate dean’s overarching responsibilities include oversight of divisional departments, development of the division’s strategic priorities, addressing perennial and emerging issues, administration, problem solving, and fiscal accountability.

The Division of Student Life is part of a newly created group led by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs which also includes the Wisconsin Union, Recreational Sports, and University Health Services. The Division of Student Life’s departments include:
