Hey Badgers! Take a look at this letter from our Dean of Students and Interim Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Lori Berquam asking for your participation in a new academic integrity survey. Read below for more information — Help us inform policy, and identify new and innovative ways to increase awareness about academic integrity.
University of Wisconsin-Madison has a long history of internationally recognized research and academics. A cornerstone of our success is that our students have a strong drive to excel and an authentic love of learning. Academic integrity is critical to the continued success of our institution, our programs, and the quality of the degrees issued. As such, I am writing to ask for your participation in a new academic integrity survey created by the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards (OSCCS), which is part of the Division of Student Life. The purpose of this survey is to garner information regarding student perception and understanding of academic integrity and misconduct. OSCCS is hopeful that the data collected in these surveys will help to inform policy, and identify new and innovative ways to increase awareness about academic integrity.
This survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. All data collected from this survey will be confidential; we encourage you to be candid in your responses. You will sign into the survey using your NetID, but OSCCS will not access your individual responses. To thank you for your time all of those who complete the survey will be entered into a raffle for one of four $25 University Book Store gift cards.
The survey will be open from January 31, 2018 through March 2, 2018. Winners of the gift cards will be contacted by March 25, 2018. Please find the direct link to the survey here: http://baseline.campuslabs.com/uwm/academicintegrity
Thank you for your help in strengthening our campus community of learning.
