A free shuttle will transport students between College Library and all residence halls every 30 minutes on the half hour from midnight through 6 a.m., December 14-20.
The Division of Student Life has once again partnered with UW Transportation Services to provide the service during finals week. Combined with SAFEwalk and bus routes 80, 81 and 82, this will ensure student 24 hours of safe transportation options to make things a little easier during a stressful time.
“While it’s better for your grades to get a full night’s sleep, we know that this time of the year some students are likely to feel the need to put in extra hours studying. If that is your situation, we want to help you do so safely.” explains Argyle Wade, interim dean of students.
The Division of Student Life and Transportation Services are funding this shuttle service with the continued goal to help Badgers stay focused and motivated through the end of fall semester. This is one small way to make a difference for our students.
Director of Transportation Services Patrick Kass says he’s pleased to collaborate with College Library and the Division of Student Life on the program.
