Dear Campus Community:
As Vice Provost for the Division of Student Life and Dean of Students, I fully support Chancellor Blank’s recent statement on opposing President Trump’s decision to repeal the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, and reaffirm our campus values that all students are welcome and belong. Our strong stance will not change: I want all students who are pursuing an education at UW-Madison to be free to continue their academic career, and as a community, we will advocate for DACA’s continuation with our representatives in Washington, D.C.
We will continue to side with and support our UW-Madison “dreamers.” If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to the staffs of the Multicultural Student Center (MSC) and International Student Services (ISS) – they are here to help you.
