What does student advocacy mean to me?
Advocacy means showing up and being there for the people you care about and represent. Striving to positively influence an institution and represent the interests of the student body is of utmost importance to me. My goal is to always attempt speak up and out about things concerning UW-Madison students.
Why do you think DOSAB is important?
I feel that DOSAB is critical to facilitating cohesive and productive conversations between students and decision-makers. It allows the opportunity to stay informed and involved in student affairs, along with providing a student voice on the matters that directly concern students. Overall, it is another opportunity to have a seat at the table and come to an informed consensus.
