What does student advocacy mean to me?

Advocacy acts as a catalyst for improvement across the UW-Madison campus and communities. It serves to amplify and support student needs through passion, dedication and understanding. As an advocate, it is my responsibility to use my voice towards equitable and uplifting practices for all students.

Why do you think DOSAB is important?

DOSAB provides a unique opportunity for students and faculty to learn from each other in order to optimize campus experiences. Students from all walks of life are given the opportunity to advocate for themselves and their peers, which creates lasting change in our communities. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve as a DOSAB member.
