What does student advocacy mean to you?
To me, student advocacy means promoting the needs and interests of students by listening to peers and bringing ideas and concerns to the administration’s attention.

Why do you think DOSAB important?
I think DOSAB is important because it allows the dean of students and representatives of the student body to make sure they are on the same page and to work together to solve complex problems. This board allows students to have a voice in a wide range of issues, from programs related to student life and diversity, to campus safety and mental and physical health. It also allows us to speak with the appropriate experts and stakeholders to make sure our messages, concerns, and proposed solutions reach them and can be discussed.
