What does student advocacy mean to you?
To me, effective student advocacy is a willingness to take initiative on a topic or project that one is passionate about. Risk-taking is inevitable in this process, and, with that, a student must be willing to hear new perspectives and absorb constructive criticism from both peers and faculty members.

Why is DOSAB important?
I believe that DOSAB is a valuable student group as it can bring first-hand perspectives to the senior administrators on a wide range of issues. For various student-wide issues, students know what the best course of action should be – which is why this communication between is so vital.
