What does student advocacy mean to me?
The founding principle of any university is its students, and therefore it is a requirement that those student’s needs, desires, voices, and pain must remain a central focus. Unfortunately, that message often gets lost in communication barriers across faculty, admiration, and both graduations/undergraduates. Student advocacy provides a bridge to these obstacles and allows progress to be made.

Why is DOSAB important?
I started being a DOSAB member my freshman year when COVID mandated that we were 100% virtual, now I am a junior and the vice-chair of the committee. I believe in the work DOSAB does because I have seen, first-hand, change being made that influences every campus community member for the better.
