American Sign Language in the Classroom

 

Amy Free (Class of ’96) has worked as an ASL interpreter for the McBurney Disability Resource Center for two decades in lecture halls, classrooms and science labs. Through the pandemic, she has had to acclimate her vital work to fit a virtual format, facing new challenges in order to continue to assist the students she works with.
