On May 1 at 11 a.m., Badgers will come together to honor cherished lives during a campus memorial ceremony at UW’s Carillon Tower.
Hosted by the Office of Student Assistance and Support (OSAS) within Student Affairs, the ceremony offers families, friends, and loved ones a time to gather in community, reflect together, and lovingly celebrate life and a lasting legacy.
“The loss of a student is felt deeply across our campus, and today we come together to honor a life that mattered,” shares Dean of Students Christina Olstad. “As Badgers, we carry one another through moments of grief and reflection, and we do so with compassion and solidarity. Their legacy lives on in the connections they formed and the community they helped build.”
Moments like this remind us of the importance of connection and the way our campus community supports one another during difficult times.
