What does student advocacy mean to me?
Advocacy is about creating momentum around important issues and amplifying voices that are too often overlooked. It’s a form of leadership rooted in empathy, courage, and persistence, all qualities that are essential to building a campus where all students can thrive. Advocacy also opens the door to meaningful conversations that might not always be easy, but are necessary to create real progress and understanding.
Why do you think DOSAB is important?
DOSAB puts students at the center of conversations that directly impact the campus community. It provides a space where diverse perspectives are not only acknowledged but actively drive meaningful change. Through open dialogue and collaboration with university leadership, DOSAB turns student feedback into tangible improvements that reflect what students truly need.
