What does student advocacy mean to me?
Advocacy is about first recognizing when change is necessary such as when events, systems, or procedures can be improved, and, most importantly, taking action. I believe effective advocacy helps ensure that the diverse needs of communities on campus are met.
Why do you think DOSAB is important?
DOSAB allows students the first-hand opportunity to have a voice in their administration. The board creates infrastructure ingrained in the Dean of Student’s office to ensure that student voices are heard and prioritized.
