What does student advocacy mean to me?

Advocacy ensures students have opportunities to express their thoughts and perspectives on issues that impact their learning and experience. It supports the ability to access resources, navigate institutional systems, and ensures UW-Madison is a welcoming environment for all.

Why do you think DOSAB is important?

DOSAB acts a safety net, making sure students have a voice at a school of over 50,000. Every student’s background and needs are unique, and DOSAB works to hold UW accountable to its responsibility: to listen, support, and create a truly inclusive and equitable learning environment.
