What does student advocacy mean to me?

Advocacy means to vouching for others, including their thoughts, feelings, and actions. Advocating is about learning from others but also helping others understand your perspective in order to improve the world we live in.

Why do you think DOSAB is important?

DOSAB is important because it allows students voices to be heard to administration, but also gives the opportunity for students to learn from the Madison community. DOSAB builds the space for critical thinking, discussion, and action for UW-Madison to become a better place.
