What does student advocacy mean to me?

Advocacy to me means using my voice and actions to create positive change for everyone. Advocacy allows students to promote acceptance and inclusivity by challenging policies that are unjust and educating other to raise awareness on issues that affect our student community.

Why do you think DOSAB is important?

DOSAB allows for students to have their voices heard to the Dean of Students and other administrators. DOSAB is made up a variety of individuals, each of which come from diverse perspectives and experiences. This allows for a forum where conversations can flow and everyone’s ideas can be shared.
