What does student advocacy mean to me?

To me, advocacy is a powerful tool for amplifying underrepresented voices and driving meaningful change. It’s about creating space for everyone to feel seen, heard, and valued. By representing students at UW–Madison, I believe advocacy is the key to building a campus where every identity is celebrated and every student knows they belong.

Why do you think DOSAB is important?

I consider DOSAB to be a vital part to helping UWMadison because it acts as a bridge that connects students voices to the administration. Through DOSAB, students can take an active role in shaping the culture, policies, and priorities of UW–Madison. Specifically it empowers us to not just exist at UW–Madison, but to claim it, reshape it, and make it undeniably ours.
