Badgers! It’s time to show your pride! Homecoming is just around the corner, and we’re kicking off the celebration with Spirit Week. Get ready for five days packed with energy, whimsy, and campus-wide fun leading up to the big game on Saturday, October 11.
Whether you’re a first-year student or a seasoned senior, Spirit Week is your chance to connect with the UW–Madison community, celebrate what makes our campus special, and create unforgettable memories. Each day has a unique theme, so get creative, get involved, and let’s make this week unforgettable!
Monday, October 6: Slumber Party
PJs Day
Start the week cozy! Roll out of bed and head to class in your favorite PJs. Whether it’s fuzzy slippers or a onesie, comfort is key.
Tuesday, October 7: Color Clash
Class Color Day
From first-year students to faculty and staff, everyone has a color. Represent your class colors with pride!

Wednesday, October 8: Dress to Impress
Fun Accessory Day
It’s all about the accessories! Rock a funky hat, cool sunglasses, a fun scarf, bold socks, or all of it at once. The more creative, the better.
Thursday, October 9: Fill the Hill
Wear Pink Day
In the spirit of Fill the Hill, join the sea of pink flamingoes on Bascom Hill with your own pink flair and personality. Whether it’s a hoodie or a headband, or a head-to-toe pink outfit (flamingo onesies strongly encouraged), pink is the color of the day.
Friday, October 10: (Put) On, Wisconsin
Badger Spirit Day
Let’s go red and white! Wear your favorite UW–Madison gear and get hyped for the Homecoming weekend. Don’t forget to join your fellow Badgers for the Pep Rally and Parade!
