Dear Badgers,
We are looking forward to welcoming you back to campus for the fall! As you begin to prepare for the semester, we want to highlight some important resources about getting involved in student organizations.
There are more than 1,000 student organizations registered with the university (RSOs) as well as a bounty of other involvement opportunities to choose from as you build your ideal UW–Madison experience. The Student Organization Fair, offered at the start of each fall and spring semester, is a great way to explore your interests.
As members of the Badger community, each student and affiliated organization is called to uphold our institutional values and policies. Please note that the following groups are currently not recognized as student organizations due to their violation or disassociation with the university’s standards and expectations.
For our community’s safety, we strongly recommend not joining or associating with these unrecognized groups operating off-campus:
- Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, 112 Langdon St.
- Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity, 124 Langdon St.
- Theta Chi Fraternity, 210 Langdon St.
As you consider how you will get involved during your time on campus, be sure to check up-to-date information on un-registered organizations that are terminated, suspended, on probation with restrictions, or dissociated from the university.
We wish you the best as you explore all that UW–Madison has to offer, and we look forward to helping each of you find the right involvement opportunities to make the most of your Wisconsin Experience.
On, Wisconsin!
